Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 to 2 cups Sully’s Mix
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 shallot, chopped and diced
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Dried oregano, to taste
  • Chili pepper flakes, to taste
  • 1/2 pound of shrimp
  • Optional: mussels or clams, add more Sully’s Mix if using
  • Angel hair pasta

Instructions:

  1. Add the shrimp to a bowl with Sully’s Mix and let it marinate.
  2. Prepare the pasta according to package directions.
  3. In a deep skillet or Dutch oven, melt the butter. Add the shallots, tomato paste, and a splash of Sully’s Mix, and cook for about one minute to combine.
  4. Add the shrimp with its marinade and the white wine to the skillet. Bring to a light boil, then reduce to a simmer. Let it cook until the flavors blend and the shrimp begin to turn pink.
  5. When the shrimp are nearly cooked, add the drained pasta. If the mixture seems dry, add a little more Sully’s Mix. Cook and gently toss until everything is well combined.
  6. Top with fresh parsley and serve.
